Introduction

This blog will document my Portfolio and Promotion project; including research into the methods other illustrators use to promote themselves, ideas and development of my own promotional materials, starting up and maintaining an online presence, and building my portfolio.

My illustrations tends to be more comic/character based, so I feel like I’m sort of limited in my options (at least compared to say, a decorative illustrator) for promotional material. Hopefully in the course of this module, I will have discovered through research ways to promote myself in ways that are more fitting for my style of illustration.
